Trekking is one of the most exhilarating and exciting activities. Most trekking trails are strenuous and if you are an amateur trekker try not to start with the difficult ones. It also does not mean that you cannot enjoy this exciting and adventurous activity. Below are a few tips that can help beginners to enjoy trekking to the fullest.

1. Choose an Easy Trek First

If you are going for trekking for the first time then it is preferable to select an easy trail. Even expert trekkers sometimes find difficult trails very tiring and exhausting. As you get experience in trekking then move slowly towards increasing difficulty levels of trekking trails.

2. Make sure you are in perfect health

Before planning your first ever trekking trip make sure you are in perfect health. Often trekkers suffer from cough, cold, upset stomach and so on. If you have any medical problem it is your responsibility to inform your tour guide and if you have asthma you should keep your inhaler with you at all times. If you feel dizzy during trekking, stop and tell you guide or partner so they can help you.

3. Pack food and extra clothes

When going for trekking make sure you pack food in sufficient amount. It is preferable to pack a few energy snacks, moreover pack extra shirt and trousers. There are chances that your clothes may get damaged due to hanging branches or by thorns in the bushes.
